TRAI celebrated World Telecommunication and Information Society Day on 20th May, 2025 at TRAI Headquarters. Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia Hon’ble Minister of Communications; and Minister for Development of the North Eastern Region graced the event as the Chief Guest. On this occasion a technical session was delivered on the theme of “Universal and Meaningful Connectivity (UMC) in India” by two eminent speakers Dr. Deepak Mishra, Director, ICREIR and Dr. Pranita Upadhyaya, Head, ITU Area Office and Innovation Centre for South Asia.
